Tyler is 8 months now (as of yesterday)

He's been eating solids but no longer eating baby food.
Until about a week ago, he stopped eating baby food.
He only wanted avocados and his baby cereal.
Otherwise, he wouldn't eat any pureed food that I made for him
or any jarred baby food.
So, I made porridge with chicken stock, water, rice and tofu.
He liked it! The next day, I added cheese, he liked it even more!!!

he practices everyday grabbing his baby crackers

with his fingers and putting it in his mouth.

he's not crawling yet, but we think he'll learn to stand first.
he may just skip over crawling completely.

he sure loves to laugh and smile

his first book and he already loves it!

he sat for a while and played, fell over and
started playing with his toes and his burp cloth
and talking away... he babbling more and more each day :)

yay~! he finally got it.
when he first tried the sippy cup, he did drink out of it. but each time after,
he would only chew the spout of his sippy cup and had no desire to drink out of it.
after about a month, he finally got the idea :)
